ABOUT
The story begins in March 2020. When COVID-19 happened, we were locked down in our home. The world just seemed to have stopped moving, and we had the impression that time on Earth just had stood eerily still.
Being isolated in our house meant that we were unable to socialize with our extended families, friends, and teachers. To direct our focus from the stress and restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, our family started the adoption process for a dog in May of 2020. Through Adopt-a-Pet.com, we found a small Maltipoo Shih-Tzu named "Coco". According to her profile, Coco was abandoned in the high desert of Southern California and had been rescued by the King of Hearts Foundation, Los Angeles. On June 19, 2020, our family adopted Coco, and we renamed her "Fuzzie" because of her white fur. Fuzzie was very thin and weighed only about 4 lbs. when she came home with us!
Now, Fuzzie has a forever home. Fuzzie, in turn, helped our entire family make it through the stressful, depressing time of the COVID lockdown. She has given us so much joy, love, and loyalty! We truly don't know what we would do without her. Even with the pandemic moving into a new phase, we cannot imagine our days without Fuzzie because she has become a significant part of our lives.

FUZZIE
Forever the inspirer of the At Least Save One's mission
Fuzzie is the cutest Maltipoo Shih-Tzu our family adopted from a rescue shelter after she was abandoned in the high desert of Southern California during the COVID-19 pandemic in June 2020. She enjoys playing catch and fetch with her stuffed toy. Fuzzie especially loves to cuddle in our laps whenever we sit together on the couch watching TV.
