OUR WORK

PROGRAM 1: FINDING A FOREVER HOME
As the cost of living continues to rise, pets are increasingly abandoned and surrendered to shelters because their owner can no longer afford to take care of them. Pets are also being abandoned because owners are experiencing a change in their life circumstance such as divorce, housing crisis, health problems, or unemployment. Shelters are overburdened due to a continuous growing need for finding a forever home for animals in their shelters. If you are interested in having a pet in your home, please consider adopting an animal from Sunny Oasis Rescue or Pardon Me Rescue by visiting their onsite adoption event at either Petco in Tustin or Anaheim Hill on Saturdays. You can also view some of the adoptable pets available through the link below.

PROGRAM 2: BRINGING PUBLIC AWARENESS
Animals suffer when they are abandoned by their owner. They feel distressed and confused because they have been left on their own to fend for themselves and face an uncertain fate. Animal shelters throughout the U.S. take in about 6.3 million animals a year. Sadly, approximately 920,000 animals (390,000 dogs and 530,000 cats) are euthanized annually as a result of limited resources at these shelters and rescues (www.aspca.org).
Through social media and community outreach campaigns, we hope to raise the public's awareness about these animals' struggles and their desire for human companionship in a loving home. Please follow our work and our progress on this website and on Instagram.
Furthermore, you can find helpful information about pet adoption and what questions to ask before adopting a pet at the link below.

PROGRAM 3: DONATING TO SHELTERS/ RESCUES
Shelters and rescues are always in need of funds and supplies to continue helping to save animals. In addition to helping abandoned and rescued animals find a forever home, we want to assist these organizations raise money and collect donated supplies (pet collars, leashes, harnesses, blankets, towels, potty pads, cleaning supplies, laundry detergents, pet food, etc.) through donation drives.
If you wish to help, you can do so by participating in At Least Save One's bi-annual Holiday Supply Drive and Spring Supply Drive and/or by making a monetary donation directly to Sunny Oasis Rescue (Michele) and Pardon Me Rescue (Karen) at 714-872-3881 using Zelle. Be sure to indicate on the Zelle transaction for a tax deductible receipt if needed and that your donation is in strong support of At Least Save One's mission. THANK YOU!! Your contributions will have a powerful impact on these desperate animals! Every donation makes a difference in our community and in the world.

PROGRAM 4: GIVING ANIMALS LOVE AND COMPASSION
Sunny Oasis Rescue and Pardon Me Rescue hold their pet adoption events on Saturdays at Petco in Tustin and in Anaheim Hills. We volunteer regularly during such events to show our love and compassion for the rescued animals. Every time we visit them, the dogs are always excited and happy to see us. They crave and enjoy receiving our love and attention.
If you are interested in helping these animals, please come to either Petco location on a Saturday to volunteer your time with these animals. Visit our calendar for the time and the Petco location.
